Parched Earth

The Narrandera Wetlands is the inspiration for this collection of unique jewellery.  This wetland is located in Narrandera (a small town in NSW).  The lovely walking tracks usually show lush grasses, water and is home to a variety of native birds. However, when Roley visited during the drought it was a very different environment.

The patchwork of dry arid land of the wetlands in drought has been captured in the Parched Earth II stunning pendant.

Whilst the Parched Earth I pendant shows the same land in a completely different aspect, almost like puddles pooled in the earth.
