Brown Tree-creeper I
Brown Tree-creeper I
If you have watched a brown tree-creeper (Bimbin - Wiradjuri language) climb a tree, you will know how delightfully active they are.
They start at the base of a tree trunk and hop all the way to the top, finding tasty bug morsels on their way. As soon as one tree has been climbed, the brown tree-creeper will fly to the next tree and start again from the base.
Brown Tree-creeper I is handcrafted in 9ct white and rose gold as a stand alone piece of wearable jewellery art.
With a black (HT) diamond as his eye, this wee 9ct white gold chap is hopping up a trunk of rose gold, set with 19 round brilliant cut champagne diamonds.
Suspended in a strand of round matt finished onyx beads that represent a dark background of early morning tree trunks, this pendant is secured with a traditional 9ct white gold clasp.
With two white gold extension rings in place, the strand of onyx is 49cm long, with a 53.5cm additional option. Ideal for wearing against your skin in v-shaped summer shirts or lengthen to wear over your warm winter high necked tops.
