In Christianty, the dove is one of the three symbols of the Holy Spirit, the other two being wind and fire.
In the New Testament, Matthew describes the Holy Spirit appearing as a dove and descending upon Jesus as he was baptised by John in the Jordan River.
The Pentecost Pendant is carved in solid silver and set with a rhodolite garnet.
